Frequently Asked Questions
Which Airsoft replicas are compatible with the Infinite kit?
Built to Glock Tokyo Marui magazine standards, the Infinite kit fits many models—AAP‑01, G17, G45, G19X, P80 and other similar pistols. Its flexible shim‑based adjustment system lets you precisely set the kit’s height, delivering universal compatibility and a perfect fit on every replica.
Important:
- Not compatible with compact Glock models such as the G42, G26 or G19.
- Other than the TM G17 Gen4 and Gen5, a small modification is required to route the HPA hose through the lower frame. This tweak is simple to perform and poses no risk to the replica.
Is the Infinite Kit compatible with the AAP-01(C)?
Yes, the Infinite kit is fully compatible with your AAP-01. Thanks to its universal design, it fits a wide range of Airsoft replicas.
To easily install your Infinite kit, follow the complete guide available here: installation guide .
Is the HPA coupler included with the Infinite kit?
No, the coupler is not included directly, as there are several standards (US, EU, MINI).
Leaving the choice up to users allows the kit to be adapted to each configuration and avoids imposing an accessory that would not suit everyone.
If required, the coupler can be added from the “HPA Fittings” section of the site.
The kit is equipped with an output to a 6x4 mm line (standard in HPA), compatible with US, EU or MINI fittings.
How many psi does my replica need to reach 1 joule?
To ensure optimal performance for your GBB replica, it is recommended to use the pressure ranges listed below.
Glock 17:
- Plastic slide: 80 to 110 PSI
- Aluminum slide: 120 to 140 PSI
- Steel slide: 140 to 160 PSI
AAP-01:
- 120 to 140 PSI
It's important to note that there is no universal PSI value, even though some misconceptions persist. When adjusting your pressure, several factors should be considered:
- Slide weight and added accessories (such as an RMR optic) influence performance. Generally, the heavier the slide, the more power is required to ensure a full cycle.
- Replica condition: Cleaning and lubricating moving parts, as well as the state of the springs (especially the hammer spring), also play a crucial role. Well-maintained parts will improve efficiency and durability.
- Remaining air in your HPA tank: As the pressure in the tank decreases, the available pressure for your replica will also drop. This can lead to suboptimal performance, especially when the tank is running low on air.
Magazines
Which magazines are compatible ?
-Milsim Magazines: Designed for full immersion, with a discreet, lightweight design. Enjoy all the GBB feels: blowback, slide lock on empty, natural handling… Don’t just shoot BBs, experience airsoft in a more realistic, fun, and intense way.
-M4/MP5 Adapters: Perfect for players who prioritize capacity, using AEG magazines holding over 100 BBs. A great solution for those willing to sacrifice some realism and GBB handling in exchange for maximum ammo in-game.
-Modified AEP Magazines (Limited Edition): Ideal for players looking for a balance of discretion and versatility, with adjustable capacity from 30 to 100 BBs, though without the empty-mag slide lock feature.
⚠️ If you choose the AEP option, you will need this specific cap to use them with your Infinite kit (not compatible with V1 and V2): 👉 Infinite AEP Cap .
To ensure optimum compatibility with GBB replicas, a notch has been carefully machined onto the original CYMA AEP magazines (without this process, this simply would not have been possible). AEP TM and SSE18 Novritsch magazines are also compatible, but will require the same notch to be machined.
Are original AEP magazines compatible ?
No, only the modified AEP magazines sold on the site are compatible.
To ensure perfect fit with GBB replicas, a specific notch is precisely machined into original AEP magazines. Without this modification, using them would simply be impossible.
To keep everything consistent with the replica, a magazine extension has also been added. Made with 3D Multi Jet Fusion (MJF) technology, it combines lightness and durability. This extra piece not only improves grip and handling but also makes rapid reloads easier and reduces the chance of mistakes during action.
What is the difference between the "Split G17 Lightweight Aluminum Body" magazines and the "Split G17 3D MJF Ultra light" magazines?
Both of these magazine models belong to the Milsim line and retain the empty-mag slide-stop function. Each model has its own strengths:
Split G17 – 3D MJF Ultra Light
Fully made with MJF (Multi Jet Fusion) technology and printed as a single piece, with the body and feed lips integrated. That construction gives them exceptional lightness, just 18 g while still offering strong resistance to impacts and drops.
Their affordable price also makes them a great option for equipping many players.
Thanks to these qualities, they’re especially well suited to intensive use and fast tactical reloads.
Split G17 – Lightweight Aluminum Body
These magazines use a different approach than the full-3D versions.
While durable, they aren’t engineered to withstand drops the same way the 3D MJF Ultra Light magazines are.
Instead, they offer other advantages: replaceable feed lips and an anodized aluminum body finish, which appeals to players who prefer a more refined look and a premium in-hand feel.
In short: each model is designed to strike the best balance between toughness and practicality depending on the intended use.
How strong are the magazines?
The magazines are designed to withstand normal airsoft use, but it’s important to remember that no equipment is completely indestructible.
Each model has its own strengths:
Split G17 Magazine – 3D MJF Ultra Light:
Built in a single piece using MJF (Multi Jet Fusion) technology, their main advantage is their ultra-light weight, only 18 g which gives them excellent impact resistance.
They’ve been tested in various conditions to prove their durability against shocks.
Their design allows them to absorb impacts remarkably well, but like any piece of gear, excessive use or repeated drops can eventually reduce their lifespan. Normal use remains the best way to ensure long-lasting performance.
Split G17 Magazine – CNC Aluminum Lightweight:
Although sturdy, these magazines are not designed to handle drops as well as the Ultra Light version. However, they offer other advantages: replaceable feed lips and a CNC-machined aluminum body, appreciated by players who value a more refined look and a premium feel in hand.
In short, each model has been carefully designed to provide the best balance between strength and practicality, depending on your play style and needs.
Are the magazines suitable for left-handed users?
These magazines are designed for right-handed use only.
They are not ambidextrous and therefore not suitable for left-handed players.
However, I’m currently exploring the possibility of adapting or offering an ambidextrous version for left-handed users in the future.
Which magazine pouch should I use?
For easy storage, the mags fit perfectly in shotgun-style Velcro pouches, they stay secure and are super quick to grab when you need them.
Installation
Is the kit installation Drop-in?
Yes, the Infinite V4 is designed for perfect compatibility with Tokyo Marui G17 Gen4 and Gen5. That means the conversion kit can be installed straight in, with no modifications required to your replica.
However, for AAP‑01 and Glock replicas (excluding TM G17 Gen4 and Gen5), a small modification is needed to route the HPA hose through the lower frame. This tweak is easy to carry out and poses no risk to the replica. An optional cutting template is available to make the operation simpler.

Others
Is it possible to install a magwell in addition to the Infinite kit?
No, the Infinite kit uses the magwell slot to secure it. Therefore, in its current version, adding a magwell is not possible without modification.
However, this is a request that comes up regularly and an evolution of the kit in this direction could be considered in the future.
